STEP 1-HOW TO START THE CHARTER PROCESS:

Surf our site and check out the beautiful photos of paradise and gorgeous yachts, videos and charter locations
Navigate to the INQUIRY FORM tab on the home page
Click INQUIRY FORM tab
Fill in the Inquiry Form
Add comments to the comment section if needed
For example, I’m interested in sailing on yacht Columbia or I need a chef that will prepare my gluten free meals or you can leave general comments or questions.
This information is used to find you or your group a specific type of Yacht for the dates or date range you specify
We need your Budget range along with your desired location where you would like to charter
We are also interested in the types of activities you would like to do while on charter and the charter type
We need to know if there are any and how many children and their ages: this could possibly lower the cost of the charter
The last thing you will need to do is click the SUBMIT BUTTON
This information is required for our database search
We will respond to your inquiry with several options for yachts that meet your criteria
We will provide an E-brochure in most cases for each yacht that we recommend
Then the decision is yours to make!!
Our goal is to get you the yacht that’s a perfect match for your vacation of a lifetime
The inquiry form does not cost you any money, the information you provide is only used by Out of the Blue Yacht Charters to find you a charter yacht that meets your needs and budget

STEP 2-YOU HAVE PICKED A YACHT “WHATS NEXT?”
It’s time to get excited you have picked a yacht
We place a hold on the yacht with the Yacht’s Agent (Management Company) on the yacht’s booking calendar
We schedule a phone call to gather additional information from you and further explain the contract process
We discuss the activities while on charter along with some expectations
We draft the contract and review it with you
We submit the contract to you for signature, along with wire instructions and bank transfer info (Payment INFO per contract)
You sign the contract and pay your deposit for your charter
If charter is 6 months or longer into the future you make 3 payments
Contract is forwarded to Yacht Owner or the Yacht’s Representative for signature
Yacht is moved to a booked status on the yachts booking calendar
Final payment is made 30 days prior to charter (APA if applicable is collected)
We schedule communication and discuss travel to the boat (How to get there)
Now wasn’t that simple? Just a few more steps and you are in Paradise
STEP 3- BEFORE THE CHARTER BEGINS “WHATS NEXT?”
You will probably get hungry telling us what you like to eat and drink
We send you a preference form and you tell us about you and your group’s dietary needs
We want to know what food you like and what you don’t, special diets and beverage choices
We schedule a phone call to talk about expectations and answer any additional questions
We find out the status of the yacht and inquire about transfers from the airport to the yacht
We keep you informed
STEP 4-WHAT YOU AND YOUR GROUP DO:
Your adventure begins on this day exhale and enjoy the trip.
You travel via commercial air (paid by you) to the airport closest to your yacht’s location
You make your way to the yacht via ground transportation from the airport (Usually by taxi) or a ferry

In some cases, the crew may arrange your transport from the airport to the yacht
When you arrive at the Yacht…Request Permission to come aboard…Your Paradise awaits you!!
We will be in contact with either you, your Captain or the Yacht Management Company to make sure your arrival went well
Should you have any issues, we will be available to discuss these with the Captain or Management Company to resolve all issues

STEP 5- MY CHARTER IS OVER “WHAT NOW?”
We know it’s a sad day when your charter is over and you may never want to leave.
We will be in contact with you post charter and ask you to tell us about your experience
We will be there for you when you are ready to book another charter in the same or different location
